TAXONOMY: PLANTAE; ANTHOPHYTA (=Angiospermae); MAGNOLIOPSIDA (=Dicotyledones); CARYOPHYLLIDAE; Caryophyllales; AMARANTHACEAE
SIGNIFICANCE NOTES -
BIODIVERSITY: Globally endangered (seriously). Comment: Known from a few specimens in mid-elevations in one area of inland Rarotonga.
GENERAL NOTE: The five other Charpentiera species are endemic to Hawaii [Wagner et.al.].
