You can download a copy of Challenge of the Wind to run on your PC (Windows 95/98/NT). This version is fully functional but some features have been removed or reduced to help lower the size of the program. It is, nevertheless, a file of 6.8 megabytes (6800k).

Windows 95/98/NT 16 megabytes of RAM 640x480 graphics with at least 32k colors 10 megabytes hard-disk space Soundcard recommended

Download the program by clicking on the link below. Your browser should offer to save the program to your hard-disk. Save the program to a temporary directory. Once the program has been downloaded, use Explorer to navigate to the directory where the program Setupex.exe had been saved. Double-click on the program to start the installation process. Following the directions of the installation program. Afterwards, you will have a folder with a short-cut to the program. You can access this folder and start the program through the Windows Start menu. When the installation is finished, you can delete the installation file Setupex.exe
