Comments:
 This kahili paa lima is made of black and white feathers with white feathers filling the core. Red and yellow brocaded fabric with frayed ribbon make up the papale (hat). The handle, 65 cm in length, is made of turtle shell rings with a craved ivory tip. The handle is currently detached from the feathered section, but still kept together.
