Comments:
 This papa heenalu is made of koa (Acacia koa) and belonged to Abner Paki. Very long, termite damage over board. Weighs 148 lbs. Hawaiian ethno card indicates this surfboard is of the olo type which is frequently made of light wiliwili wood, but this one is made of koa. Paki was born on Molokai about 1808 and lived until 1855. The period of his greatest surfing activity was probably around 1830. See Buck p. 385
