Comments:
 This bowl used in the serving of kava (Piper methysticum) has 4 legs. The base of 1 leg is cut on a diagonal (left of lug). 2 lengths of braided cordage, possibly made of coconut fiber, is strung through 2 holes in the T-shaped lug. The cordage is then knotted 3 times. Kava residue and water stains are visible in the interior. Max rim width: 1.7 cm; bowl depth approx: 10 cm; avg leg circumference: 9.6 cm.
