Comments:
 This natual colored barkcloth has black and brown freehand designs. The motifs suggest leaves and geometric shapes with an undecorated border on all sides. Several lines of handwritten text appear in the margin of one corner, as well as within a small portion of the decorated portion. It was made circa 1880s.
