Comments:
 Barkcloth w/ wide white border as is seen in Tongan pieces. Red brown design [applied via siapo elei (rubbing method) using hand-sewn upeti] on white, wide white border (fele). Tusilii (small wavy lines) background, aliao (trochus) w/ faa gogo (what appears to be 4-petaled flowers is actually birds tossed in the wind). Moderate insect damage.
