Comments:
 This is a stick and fishhook bundle with cordage attached to the stick and the fishhook unattached (3.25 x 2.32 x 0.28 cm). The fishhook is a barbless iron one-piece with an attached ka'a, the snell of the fishing line. One of the names for barbless fishhooks is 'omau, which means "to hold steadfast." This fishhook is thought to be a Makau kakala ho'olau honu.
