This is a bundle of four sticks and four barbless iron one-piece fishhooks attached with cordage to the sticks. Each fishhook has its own ka'a, snell of the fishing line, and aho cordage or fishing line. One of the names for barbless fishhooks is 'omau, which means "to hold steadfast."
