 Stone Adzes. Koi pahoa bought in Kailua, Hawaii between April-June 1885. It is very smooth and polished. The appearance of the stone suggests it may have been for a long time treasured as a charm or pohaku aumakua. (Emerson) Length 13.7 cm; width 3.9 cm; thickness 2.4 cm; weight 275 g.
