Comments:
One piece stone pikoi with handle. Four deep, longitudinal grooves in the head extend from dome to base. An oval bore, 1.0 by 1.2 cm, is in the handle 2.9 cm from the butt end. Length 24.6 cm, maximum width 9.4 cm, weight 1461 g. Figure 215. (Summers) This heavy implement is best used as a flail or retrievable missile. Its use as a club would be difficult in all but "one-shot" blows as the haft portion is thick (5.2 cm) and affords a secure grip only for persons with extremely large hands. (Draeger 1977: OP 75)
