Comments:
Hinai with cover having gourd interior and twined ieie (Freycinetia arborea) covering. The gourd is broken into several pieces. The twining is tightly done using split ieie in a consistent twill with rows of alternating twills evenly spaced throughout the weaving. Olona (Touchardia latifolia) netting, used to suspend the hinai, is attached around the rim of the base. The cover in done in the same manner as the base.
