Comments:
 This food pounder, associated with Kauai, is made from basalt and shaped with a concave inner wall and two spurs. The palms of both hands are pressed against the back of the pounder, with fingers curling around the side and gripping the stone at the front depression, and thumbs resting within the spurs.
