Comments:
 This hat is made of lau hala (Pandanus tectorius). The leaves were prepared, stripped and woven in the Kona style. The center of the crown, called the piko, is made up of three piko designs. The rest of the hat is woven in the maka oeno twill weave. It has a hatband of braided lauhala which is tied into a bow on one side.
