Comments:
 Plectrum for a biwa (Japanese lute). Triangular-shaped playing edge and an extended handle made of ebony wood. A light-colored wood at the corners of the playing edge. Made circa 1898. Purchased in 1912 by the donor's husband, Mr. Shigeru Shigemura, who played professionally. Ref. to Lute 1977.508.001A.
