Comments:
 American floral quilt named "Rose of Sharon". Rose of Sharon, border applique of buds, stems and leaves on a white background. In the center are 3 lines of stems, leaves and buds with three large roses each (nine in all). Quilting on the border in squares, in center in pattern of leaves and stems.Said to have been made by sisters in the D.C. Washburn area in the 19th century.
