Comments:
 Square-headed mochi pounder. The corners of the square have been cut down or beveled. Made of unvarnished wood. The handle has been inserted into hammer 2/3 way from the pounding edge. Item was made in Hawaii in 1940 by the donor's son and was probably used in Kapahulu, Oahu.
