Comments:
 Hawaiian flag quilt named "Kuu Hae Aloha". Made by Wilhelmina Eichinger and Mrs. Enos in Maui in 1918. Contour and diagonal quilting used on this quilt. Four Hawaiian flags used as border pattern surrounding a coat-of-arms in the center with " Kuu Hae Aloha" embroidered in gold thread. Mrs Eichinger, who arrived in Hawai'I in 1914, and Mrs. Enos, a Hawaiian woman, made this quilt circa 1918 in Wailuku, Maui. Mrs. Eichinger's husband, Peter Walter Eichinger, was builder of the Pu'unene and Waihe'e dairies in Maui.
