Four Hawaiian flags on staffs at each corner. The central motif is a modified Hawaiian coat-of-arms with two crowns above it. A maile pattern is added below the coat-of-arms and two kahili patterns flank it on either side. This quilt once belonged to Mrs. Lily Lindsay, a Hawaiian lady of Kamuela. Her husband was a well-known paniolo who worked at the Parker Ranch. The quilt is said to have first been a wedding gift to the Lindsays. Mrs. Lindsay donated the quilt to St. James Episcopal Church where it was auctioned and purchased by Elsie Krassas, the donor's mother.
