Comments:
 This hat is made of lau hala (Pandanus tectorius). The leaves were prepared, stripped and woven as a single piece known as the Kona style. The center of the crown, called the piko, is made up of two piko designs. The rest of the hat is woven using maka oeno, twill weave. It has a short brim and has a medium color. The top of the crown dips down creating a depression. A brown grosgrain ribbon is stitched to the interior of the crown.
