Comments:
 This hat is made of lau hala (Pandanus tectorius). The leaves were prepared, stripped and woven as a single piece known as the Kona style. The hat is entirely woven using maka oeno, twill weave, including the piko, the center of the hat. The brim has a dip and curve.
