Tiki

Material:
 Plant (wood)

Dimensions:
 20.5 x 7.0 x 7.0 cm.

Origin:
 Nuku Hiva, Marquesas, Polynesia

Comments:
Raphael Ah-Scha, from Taioahe on Nuku Hiva, created this wooden tiki, depicting a figure kneeling, hands across its stomach and eyes wide and peering out. While not as detailed with smaller geometric patterns as some tiki are, this image retains the essential form of Marquesan carvings.
