Dixie Shellabarger writes: "This is an authentic wood carving by a Palauan craftsman named Bernadino. It was carved in Koror between 1966-1969. It represents the story of an unfortunate incident, which actually happened during the mid-60s. Charlene Ongelungel's father's uncle Mulei was the unfortunate fisherman."
