Comments:
 This is a handmade kou (cordia subcordata) wood bowl with a traditional style finish on the outside and no finish inside the bowl. Bowl has a footed base. Used by Kalaimoku, half-brother of Kamehameha I. Charles Kanaina bought this bowl at an auction with the knowledge that it had belonged to King Lunalilo and son. Label says Mrs AP Judd.
