Comments:
 This makau is made of human bone and was found on Kahoolawe. It follows a form that is uncommon, but seen in other hooks made of the same material. The incurved point is more typical of other fishhooks, along with a very slight lower barb. This kind of hook is known as makau iwi kanaka.
