Comments:
 This papa heenalu is of the hollow style, designed and built in 1931 by Tom Blake. The sides are fastened to the shape of the board by transverse braces one foot apart. The bow and stern is made of solid wood and form fastenings for the lateral side pieces. Three-ply wood veneer form the deck and bottom fastened in place with 800 brass screws. Brass plate in the side is a drain. Brass plate on the deck is an air escape.
