Comments:
 This has a small pendant with the strands of braided hair strung through the hole in the pendant. The olona (Touchardia latifolia) cordage used to bind the strands together on one side is missing. This was part of a collection of Hawaiian artifacts collected between 1836 and 1848 by Dr. Seth Andrews, a medical missionary who lived in Kona, Hawaii. Charles Potter is his grandson.
