SiteType: Heiau of Imakakaloa. A series of enclosures with walls some- times widened into platforms. (V. Hansen, August 1971--In open ranch land, 2 of the 3 enclosures Stokes mentioned remain. The SW wall of the now remaining small enclosure appears to have been either terraced or additions were made to the wall. Several platforms here also; much or most of the structure collapsed. Two or more rock mounds inside. (SITE CARDS B11-97 AND 98 COMBINED). NOTE: Maps/literature give varient spelling of "Kawa/Kawaa". May be old and new spelling of same location OR different locations.
