SiteType: Heiau at Makanalua, considered the most sacred on this side of Molokai; built of 2-foot-high stones, which formed 2 squares, each about 10 feet square and divided by a wall through the middle. Flat, lava blocks for floor. In S part, on wall stands a smooth, gray lava cone of 32.5cm height, and 57cm circumference; considered sacred. Statewide Inventory: Not located.
