SiteType: Mololokai, at foot of ridge which divides Keaau and Makaha Valleys; two small pits which are on makai side of road. Larger is about 20 feet wide, and 5 feet deep; smaller, on sea side of the other, is 3 feet in diameter and 6 feet deep. They no longer communicate with sea, and are filled with refuse. Connected with story about cannibalism.
