SiteType: Mokaena Heiau, Kuokala, on ridge overlooking Kaena Point, elevation 1200', highest location of any heiau on Oahu. A small three-division structure, of two upper rock-paved platforms, and a larger, lower division of dirt floor enclosed with very low walls. Whole heiau, rectangular, measures 35 x 75'. On N edge of second platform is a narrow, pointed stone, 2.5' x 4" x 6", which appears to have stood erect.
