SiteType: Cave of Refuge. Large lava tube cave identified as a Cave of Refuge with an extensive open cultural deposit which yielded c. 500 artifacts--principally fishhooks and fishhook man- ufacturing tools. Post contact burials and structural features were left intact. EXCAVATION. ARTIFACTS.
