SiteType: Honuaula Heiau. Occupies a prominent position on the sand dunes in the middle of the valley. In 1906, heiau found to be almost covered with sand, a few water-worn stones indicate the site. In 1919 a visit paid when much sand had shifted exposing enough to show it was a platform, built of water- worn stones, measurement of 210' made along side parallel to the sea. More than 90' wide.
