SiteType: Honuaula Heiau (SEE D14-5, STATEWIDE INVENTORY, 1974) at Honolua Gulch. Remains of old stone platforms and walls. Whole interior formerly paved with stone, now mostly removed to build pens. Largely destroyed in 1931. When no trace was found in 1974 the name was given to new site; a newly discovered heiau, larger and in better condition, in the belief that this may have been the one Walker was searching for.
