SiteType: Trail, in Halawa Valley complex. The trail to Papalaua, began at Ka'ili (Site 259), went up ridge to flat kula land, then descended in a NE direction, crossing Waialuna Gulch, then Pipiwai Gulch, down the cliff to Pua'ahaunui flat. After crossing flat it followed seashore to Haka'a'ano flat, and across, then followed seashore to Papalaua.
