SiteType: Auwai; large, long ditch bringing water along S bank of N Fork from near Makailiahi to Eke (A1-20, 21). Probably modern. About one mile in length, and at least three feet deep and wide. Passes through bedrock outcrops which appear to have been blasted out. One stretch is faced several feet high with stone.
