SiteType: Shelters. Two shelters located on the S slope of the S hill of Waieli Cone. Both shelters incorporate bedrock. The E shelter is built against an outcrop 1.25m high on the E, with two short wall sections extending from the outcrop for about 2m which create a U or C-shaped shelter, open to the lee, or W. The W shelter has bedrock on the N, with short wall sections enclosing a 3-4m sq. soil area. 3 pieces of sandstone found at the E shelter. Very eroded shelters. Didn't see any shellfish or basalt flakes.
