SiteType: The ditch comes off the stream at a small rapids--no dam remains. Along its length it is often stone-lined, but always banked up with earth. Below the ditch from the hair-pin bend to the end, there is often a single line of terraces before the land level drops to the flat. Preservation of terraces poor.
