SiteType: Kapinao Heiau,in Waiakalua Valley, on a knoll at the head of E. Waiakalua valley just above the waterfall. Described by Thrum as "A large heiau of about 200 x 400 feet, high walled and stone paved...of pookanaka class". NOTE: Probably the same heiau described by Meyers, as location of two large heiaus in valley is improbable.
