SiteType: Taro terraces in East and West Waiakalu valleys. Still well preserved. Some of the highest terraces may have been used as house sites. Terracing walls are of loose construction; on low places merely a single line of stone, while in steeper places walls rise to a height of 3-4 feet. Some terraces are not faced with stone.
