SiteType: Kawaa Springs is a tidal inlet extending inland over 500'. In the middle of the pond is said to be a large red stone ku'ula (fishing god). Much of the pond is now filled with akakai rushes. Near the NW corner is a lua ahole or hole occupied with ahole fish. The mauka or west end was planted in taro by Kumukahiapo. Latitude: 19-06-51 Longitude: 155-31-47
