SiteType: In a hollow of the rough a'a, about a great boulder, what appears to be a heiau, though I could obtain no name for it. (Plan, p.26, Reinecke). Built of medium small blocks of a'a, strewn w/small pieces. Platforms vary in height according to contour of land; height planned seems to be typical 1-4 feet. This site evidently omitted from site cards long ago, ommission discovered by KPE, 7/10/73. Visited Friday, Jan. 27, 1978--more or less intact, but blocked in by houses, roads, etc. KPE Compare with D-12-27 in Honokolau. KPE
