SiteType: Heiau, at Kepalaoa, in Hanamauuloa Complex. This is a superior coastal complex: 97 varied features, well preserved. The heiau, 30 x 45 feet, is walled on 3 sides, and open to the sea. In front, to the sides, are 2 towers with tiny platforms on top, not more than 6 feet high. Coral found. Located in Statewide Inventory, 1973.
