SiteType: (ONCE WAS A37-103 AND A37-5) Petroglyph footprints carved in pahoehoe flow "which passes close by on the N of Lualailua N hill...at a place called Papakea." Emory visited in 1922, and counted 31, 20 of which were in pairs, 3 inches apart. He concluded they represent children's feet, but uncertain whether to regard them as true petroglyphs, or as imprints made by children trapped on lava flow. Emory's conclusion is to regard them as petroglyphs, but of a form very different from those on Molokai. Latitude: 20-37-32 Longitude: 156-19-02
