SiteType: Poohoolewa Heiau; large walled heiau, probably of sacrificial class (Luakini). It is 300 x 130 feet at front. Large, open court occupies distance of 200 feet from front of heiau. Remaining 100 feet is divided into two 50-foot enclosures with walls 5 feet high, and 6 feet thick. Beach stones, pebbles, and basalt used in construction. Latitude: 21-55-43 Longitude: 156-14-42
