SiteType: Kalaina Wawae Petroglyphs (meaning "carved footprint"). Located on a sandstone slope about half a mile from the sea and S of Kalani is a series of oblong depressions that are said to represent human footprints. 1953: prints still there although being worn away by weather and cattle.
