SiteType: Koa, located on the N side of Kawaihau Bay, at Ilio Point; 11 x 9 feet on the outside. Walls faced inside and out with somewhat squarely broken slabs of limestone. Paved on top with with same material. Walls varied in width from 1.25 to 2.5 feet, and height was 3 feet. Slabs averaged 4 inches thick. Still there in 1966.
